四月芳菲，书香致远 | 更新学校第三届阅读节正式开幕！

四月芳菲，书香满园。在这春意盎然的日子里，我们迎来了第31个“世界读书日”，也迎来了上海浦东新区民办更新学校第三届阅读节的正式启幕！

本周一上午，全校师生齐聚，在庄严的升旗仪式中，共同见证了这一书香盛事的开幕。

尊敬的老师们，亲爱的同学们早上好！

Good morning, dear teachers and classmates!

春启新章，书香致远，今天，更新学校第三届阅读节正式启动！“读览古今妙笔生花，阅在更新读行浦东”

With the arrival of spring, a new chapter unfolds, and the fragrance of books fills the air. Today marks the official opening of TAS 3rd Reading Festival —a celebration of our theme: “Reading Through Ancient and Modern Times, Writing with Vividness; Walking and Reading in Pudong.”

阅读让我们对话先贤、解锁新知，更能让我们将书中智慧融入浦东的烟火与成长。

Reading connects us with the wisdom of the ages, broadens our horizons, and helps us weave knowledge into the fabric of our lives here in Pudong. It allows us to converse with great minds, discover new ideas, and nourish our hearts and minds.

在此，我们倡议：以书为友，每日共读片刻；以阅为乐，分享所思所感；以行践知，让阅读走出书本，绽放在校园的每一个角落。

Therefore, we encourage everyone to: make books your lifelong friends and read a little every day; find joy in reading and share your reflections with others; turn knowledge into action and let the spirit of reading flourish in every corner of our campus.

让我们携手赴书香之约，在笔墨间遇见美好，在阅读中共同成长！

Let us join hands in this beautiful journey with books—let’s meet the beauty within words, and grow together through the power of reading!

让阅读成为一生的习惯

尊敬的老师们，亲爱的同学们：大家上午好！

Good morning teachers and students!

春风送暖，书香满园。在这美好的四月，我们迎来民办更新学校第三届阅读节。在此，我向辛勤筹备的老师们表示感谢，向满怀期待的同学们，致以热烈的祝贺！

As spring arrives and the weather warms, we also welcome our school’s 3rd Reading Festival this April. I would like to thank all the teachers who have worked hard to prepare for this event, and I warmly congratulate all the students who are looking forward to it.

本届阅读节主题是：读览古今妙笔生花，阅在更新读行浦东。

The theme of this year’s Reading Festival is: “Read across time, grow at TAS, and explore Pudong through learning.”

读书，让我们与古今智者对话，开阔眼界、涵养品格；行走，让我们走进家乡、感知浦东，把书本知识变成真实体验。希望每位同学都能在阅读中成长，在实践中收获。

Reading allows us to learn from people of the past and present, broaden our perspectives, and develop our character. Going out and exploring helps us connect what we read with real life and better understand our community. I hope every student can grow through reading and gain meaningful experiences through action.

接下来一个月，精彩活动即将展开：

Over the next month, we have many exciting activities planned:

我们将用阅读卡连成长长的阅读纸链，见证坚持的力量；

We will have a reading competition between classes, using paper chains to track our progress.

我们将迎来沉浸阅读周，在温馨的氛围里享受阅读的快乐；

We will have a special Reading Week where everyone can enjoy quiet and focused reading time.

我们将评选书香家庭、书香班级、阅读之星，让阅读点亮校园、温暖家庭；

We will recognize Reading Families, Reading Classes, and Reading Stars to celebrate a strong reading culture at school and at home.

各年级还将开展经典演绎、创意展示、知识闯关等特色活动，让大家在乐趣中爱上阅读。

Each grade will also have activities such as performances, creative projects, and reading challenges to make reading more engaging and enjoyable.

同时，我们还将走出校园，开展“读行浦东”实践活动，让阅读走出课堂，走向更广阔的世界。

At the same time, we will step outside the classroom through our “Reading in Pudong” activities, connecting reading with real-world experiences.

同学们，阅读是陪伴一生的好习惯，它能丰富心灵、点亮梦想。希望大家珍惜这次机会，多读书、读好书、善读书，在书页间收获知识，在活动中展现风采，在行走中读懂世界，做有温度、有智慧、有力量的更新学子。

Reading is a lifelong habit. It helps us grow, think deeply, and dream bigger. I encourage all of you to take this opportunity to read more, choose good books, and read thoughtfully. Learn from what you read, participate actively in the activities, and better understand the world around you.
